Day 1 - Monday, February 4th, 2008

This is a sample of what my jersey will look like. I turned 30 last week so this number is fitting.
My name tag above my locker.
A view from inside the clubhouse before practicing.
This was waiting for us after practice and our evaluation game.

The trainers room where I went to get my knee reparied after a sliding triple.
The weight room at the clubhouse, which we can't use due to liability issues.
The equipment room stores everything. Uniforms, hats, balls, bats, socks, shirts, etc.
The meeting room where coaches discuss the days results.
The name tag outside of Ned's office. The door was locked, I checked.

Daily Notes

After arriving at the airport we were bused over to the stadium for... Oh forget it. I'm too tired to write everything. All in all it was a spectacular day. Seeing my uniform hanging in my locker was very surreal; almost like a dream. I went 1 for 1 with a triple and a run scored before lightening haulted the outdoor activities. The coaches held a draft to pick their players. Three-time All-Star, Ben Oglivie, selected me to his team.

More pictures will be taken tomorrow as my Mom and Dad will be in the stands with nothing else to do except to take pictures.

People I Met.

Bill Schroeder, Jerry Augustine, Greg Brock, Rob Deer, Mike Fetters, Don Money, Ben Oglivie, Lou Klimchock, Johnny Logan, Mosse Haas, Ed Sedar, Bob Skube, Dale Sveum and Gorman Thomas.
