Daily Notes

Thursday started out like the previous couple days: me in the trainers room getting medical attention. Shoulder was tight, legs were tight, blisters were sore. We lost our first game 18-5 against Gorman's winless team; we're going to hear about that one in the morning. Our second game was disapointing. We had a 8-2 lead in the bottom of the 6th inning only to let Lou Klimchock's team score 8 runs and win 10-8. That loss eliminated our chances of getting to the championship game and playing on the big field where the Brewers play their Spring Training games.

Won two bobbleheads for knowing trivia questions at Happy Hour. Question: Rob Deer lead the majors in at-bats per home run in 1986. How many at-bats per home run did he record that year? Answer: 14.1. Bill looked over at me and said, "Who said that? How did you know that?" I wish I had a good comeback line, but I wasn't quick enough.

Injuries and Ailments

Thighs were sore the whole day. Had to get a tight wrap on them before the second game so I could run. Blister on back of heal still hurts.
