Day 3 - Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Former Brewer outfielder Rob Deer looking on.
Former Brewer pitcher Mike Fetters.
My coach and former Brewer outfielder Ben Oglivie.

Daily Notes:

Pitched my first game. 7 innings, 5 hits, 9 strike outs, and I'll just say several walks.. We won 9-4. My arm felt great the whole game until the final 7th inning when I could barely find the strike zone, but we had a solid lead so I stayed in the game to finish. After the game I had two ice wraps around my shoulder and forearm, which is typical for pitchers to do.

Our second game didn't go as planned. Some poor defense paired with mostly pop-up at the plate doesn't get the job done. Lost 11-7.

People I Met:

Bob Uecker. I was taking a few photos of Bob while he was getting some food. "Don't worry about me Bob I'm just taking your picture". Bob replies, "I won't. Why would I worry about that".

Injuries and Ailments:

Toes are better, hamstrings are still tight, blister on heal opened up during the 7th inning while I was pitching; I didn't enjoy that.
